My company Christmas party is coming up, and our theme is 'Lowelifes' where we must come as scummy, villaineous, candy-stealing dirtbags. I'm thinking the atmosphere is going to be something along the lines of the sleazy Mos Eisley cantina in Star Wars.


Anyway, I'm torn between two costumes to wear during the event: I'd like to go as Alex from Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange because of his simple and cool look... but I dunno, I just feel like a lot of dudes might dress up as him for some reason.


The other get-up I have in mind is Heath Ledger's Joker from next year's Batman: The Dark Night, simply cuz' he looks like a kickass maniacal-homicidal clown... but I'm afraid the makeup might be a hindrance to enjoying the party the whole night...


I'm not a cosplay kinda guy, but I'm really digging the theme and I think it's going to be a lot of fun this year (the cash prize for best in costume wouldn't hurt my bleeding wallet too btw, hehe). So, what do you guys think? Or maybe you can suggest other killer costume ideas and lemme steal them! haha

a few halloweens back, my girlfriend and I, plus two good friends went around as droogie droogs. the guy playing alex galing coz he looks kinda like malcolm mcdowell. to pull it off, kelangan i-career. eyeball cufflinks, bowler hat and all. not everyone will get it. unless you work in an ad agency or lahat kayo sa office moviephile, very few people will get it. i worked in summit back then and not a lot of people got it.

Alex look would be really cool to watch... heck, we'd be having TV/movie cosplay for our party as well.

Christmas party din sa GASSO costume party. Nakapost sa multiply ko yung sa last year, Red Light District theme. I went as an abortionist.

Haha, hindi ako Gallardo, pero yung mapapangasawa ko yung bunsong anak. Ewan ko kung sino ECD, di ko alam mga position nila. Paolo Arevalo?

haha, jigsaw would be nice, but i think i'm too tall to pull that off. he'd have to be like a midget or something:


have you finished the movie na ba? the ending has a cool twist in the end.

@ lyka: do they have cheap dvd players there? kasi dito sa pinas, mas ok ung cheap brand players kasi they play all regions and all pirated!

@ juan: a clown w/o white makeup? ayus ka ah, haha.
