I'm also using orbit and it makes my work much easier. Puwede rin kasing pangdownload ng flv files.

Sa opis di ako makapaginstall ng apps kaya firefox add-on na lang ginagamit ko para makapagdownload.

There's another way I found from a music group. It doesn't work for me but worth to try.

1.Click on anyone's playlists to bring up Windows Media Player
2.Click the right arrow key >>>> next to where you see the Play Button to go through the tracks.
3. Then above look for "File" or right click too Save File as.

It works only if the person has allowed others to download.

@ ayi: exactly! multi keeps putting all these barriers... but we keep getting around them! so... just restore everything to the status quo already! haha

@ jori: i'll try this out! actually i usually use the downloadthemall firefox plugin but i haven't tried it on the current multiply albums yet. i use opera as my main browser though. anyway, good to know this orbit thing works. i'll install it tommorow! to lazy to try it out. gotta get some zzzzs... hehe

@ janet: repost away! but it's ok if you don't link this site cuz' i wasn't the one who did any work at all. haha, you can link the dude's post above cuz' he illustrated the thing. kudos to dude! haha

@ mix: amen! makes me wonder what 'barrier' they'll come up with next... please no more! just bring back the 'good old days' of 'sharing'. hehe

@ noel: nice! the more methods the better! that one's actually pretty good since you don't really need to download another app. sucks for mac users (like me in the office) though! nyahaha

Is there a downloader for Mac?
ryderaquino wrote on Jan 13
sadly i don't think there currently is. see if any of the firefox download plugins will work. i'm sure there's bound to be one! i'll experiment sa office later!
bleau72 wrote on Jan 13
I'm trying the DownloadThemAll plug-in for Firefox, but all I get to download is the HTML link and not the actial file.
yasmeanie wrote on Jan 13
Heh, if it's gonna be this mucha hassle, I'm better off doing a similar yet simpler extraction process in imeem.
siopaomaster wrote on Jan 13
LOL I didn't know you cannot download music anymore here on Multiply. Serves them right! >")
sweetadobo wrote on Jan 13
much-much-much appreciated.;)

isang feature na lang, perpekto na ang orbit. --> Torrent support. I'm currently using flashget for torents. Kung magkakaroon ng torrent support ang orbit, mas maige para maka-conserve ng disk space.

post ko rin ito sa multiply ko at sa pc experts forum namin

@ bro: really? hmmm. that sucks! well, for mac peeps. i guess this is one round that 'i'm a mac' guy loses, hehe.

@ yas: right, right. but is the audio quality you'll get from imeem good? just wondering...

@ andrew: huh?! you're pro anti-download (haha labo nun ah)? or serves them right that we always find these little loopholes to get around their barriers?

@ ace: you're welcome! just spreading the word!

@ jori: ah i see. i use azureus for torrents myself. speaking of torrens, what sites do u usually download from? i usually go to thepiratebay.org or torrentspy.com but sometimes what i'm looking for aren't always there...

@ robert: no need for my consent! just link up mr. dorkyskapunk's link above.

LoL. Boo! Wala sa mac! But still, this is awesome ryder. I knew one of you guys would still find a way around it! Woohoo!
ryderaquino wrote on Jan 13
@ k: well, that's true! but let's not hate on multiply since we are using their site and are doing a lot of good things vs the recent bad things with music. so kudos to multiply and hackers! hahaha

@ señor geek: i'm still trying to find a way for mac! i use a mac here at the office where i do most my downloading (speaks volumes on my productivity noh? hehe)...
karichi wrote on Jan 14
i needed that knock on my head. i think i'd still prefer just settling with these glitches for mp3 downloads to Multiply shutting down for copyright issues haha =P
ryderaquino wrote on Jan 14
yeah, we've all got an itching for a good rant! i'm guilty of this too. let's spread some positivity around here! haha
noelkid wrote on Jan 14
For those who are using a Mac... a simple way (as usual with a Mac) is :

1 to download the ".m3u" file,
2 to open it in a text editor,
3 to copy the content and
4 to paste it to Safari's "downloads" window.
ryderaquino wrote on Jan 14
NICE! now you're my download saviour! 'i'm a mac' guy makes a comeback! hehe
noelkid wrote on Jan 14
We have to beat Multiply...hahaha....... ;)
ryderaquino wrote on Jan 14
haha, let's not get violent! outsmart maybe. hehehe
ryderaquino wrote on Jan 14
just tried the mac method, it works like a charm! pretty easy too. weeeee!!! thanks noel!
bleau72 wrote on Jan 14
This is so cool! Would you know of a way to do this in Firefox for Mac?
freaklicious wrote on Jan 14
i hope that they learn that you can't stop music lovers!
ryderaquino wrote on Jan 14, edited on Jan 14
@ bro: same thing! after getting the url, use your downloader (i'm not sure if the default firefox downloader will do this) and go to 'add url'. just any place where you can download a file via pasting url will do. my default opera browser downloader has this feature, so no prob. check firefox on mac! i'm sure it has, if not use dTa or downloadhelper to add the url manually.

@ halene: exactly! where there's a will there's a way. sorry record companies! hehe
bleau72 wrote on Jan 14
tried it with the downloader of firefox for mac and it does not work. =(
ryderaquino wrote on Jan 14
really? hmmm. i'll try out firefox at the office later and update you. i guess for now, it's browser switching for ya! did u try safari? oh wait ur safari still has crappy fonts no? haha
