this. absoluteley. SUCKS. so does this. BUT, now there's a way around it!

Thanks to noel for sharing these Google custom search loopholes for Multiply mp3s! Just click on either bellow:

and manong jay for this:

1. Search for your music (yay!)
2. Copy the url in the search result and paste it to your browser. (Clicking on the links is futile as Multiply will magically make the page 'not found'... bastards!)
3. This brings you not to the album's page, but rather, the user's homepage for some reason. Just look for the songs you're looking for in their music section! (Woohoo!)

Voila! MP3 Search is (sorta) back!

oh but there's a catch! the search results show up, but multiply suddenly makes the site 'not found'... not true!!!

just copy the url in the search result and paste it to your browser. this doesn't bring you to the album's page, but rather, the user's homepage for some reason. simply look for the songs you're looking for in their music section! takes longer than before, but at least music search is (sorta) back! woohooo! loopholes FTW!!!

i know! i'm one of 'em! hehe. but in fairness, i guess they had to do what they had to do. record labels are probably breathing down their necks. *sigh*. when will companies realize copyright laws are worth jack sh*t in the age of INTERNET!?!? hahaha.

now, let's just hope they don't take away these loopholes you've shared... or worse... uploading/downloading music at all! (GASP!)

yikes! scary! as in, there's an actual law that they can hunt you down?! that's insane! reminds me of that southpark episode where the kids got caught by the fbi or something for downloading songs off the internet.

or you could try a direct google query

"song title + artist",music/item site:multiply.com

this will search directly the music section, works the same way as above. do not click on the returned results. for it is a direct link. copy the link url then paste it to overwrite your already logged in multiply browser.

I just search via google and come up with results. I didn't use the multiply search feature. ;)

@ jewel: i tried that before but i couldn't get music! it's always videos or reviews that would show up in search results!

this is really complicated, that i now think of torrent as the first option in downloading. nice method though, and still useful for songs with no torrents
