A slice of electronica bliss from 2005. You heard 'Hide and Seek' in CSI, the OC, and SNL's Letter to My Sister digital short. She was also part of the short-lived duo Frou Frou. Simply enchanting woman. Plus, her name is Imogen. Beat that.

oh sweet! i really need to make space in my HD for those older albums one of these days. she's been around since the 90s and i feel like a dupe for only recently discovering her (thanks SNL! hahaha). maybe imogen can be your latest 'women of rock' series entry to go alongside tori, bjork, stevie, and the rest!
i have her discography! i like her. she's both crazy and genius... like bjork with cool gadgets. she could've continued with frou frou but many people thought that she had nothing to do with the production of the album. "speak..." was her effort to prove them wrong.
agree, agree! bless her heart. first i uploaded feist, now imogen. it's just refreshing to hear these more artistic and creative women than the cookie cutter pop and r&b gals out there (i won't name names, baka may ma-offend!). hehe
Her voice is absolutely breathtaking, i wish i could sing like that. I love "Just for Now" sang acapella and how she uses her hand for clapping the music. I wonder if she uses an autotune or vocoder coz she sounds close to perfect. I am in awe of her talent!
hahaha, music connoisseur ba? i actually enjoy all sorts of stuff. i can bear a lot of stuff. whether it's indie, mainstream, emo, hiphop, r&b... basta, that's what's great about music. everyone is entitled to experience and love it their own way. thanks though. it's nice to know we vibe...^_^
