Cansei de Ser Sexy (lit. "[I'm] tired of being sexy" in Portuguese; better known as CSS) is a Brazilian band from São Paulo. Their songs have an electro-rock sound, and are sung in both English and Portuguese; their lyrics mostly concern pop culture.CSS formed in September 2003, consisting of a group of friends.Their name was taken from a reported quote by Beyoncé, who allegedly declared that she was "tired of being sexy".

no prob. grab the whole thing, it's actually a nice trippy listen. standouts for me are 'let's make love and listen to death from above', 'off the hook', and 'art bitch'.

Very catchy name. At least they look different from those sequined-hotpants wearing bands. I love the 60's beat of "Off the Hook". Have any of their songs made it to the charts?

i don't think so, they're not really mainstream. sadly, our charts are dominated by erik santos, hilary duff, and whatnot.

omg they're like on radio-porto airplay almost daily but then again that stupid radio station inserts a james blunt in some samba hour, like the DJ was playing a daily practical joke.

ah really? guess they're big in europe. i'm no music authority in this country, but i guess i just haven't heard them on the radio or seen any of their vids here yet. but who knows, filipinos love anything brazillian... tsinelas, models, food, why not music...haha

there's a brazilian community here coupled with the fact that the biggest minority here is portuguese. i like cussing the porto way, fuda-se is my fave with lambe-me os colhões coming in a close second. lollers.
