It's was back and it was a blast. Pictures don't do this event justice. It's seeing the enthusiasm of the fans, the charisma of the cosplayers, the wonder of being surrounded by collectibles, and so on. Another ToyCon in the books, and I'm glad to have shared it with my bro once again. Cheers!

• Update: Added some more shots near the end c/o Katrina's cam!

Long overdue pics from our company Christmas party last Dec. 7. Our theme was LOWElifes: the Goons, the Bad, and the Ugly where we had to come as psychotic, deviant, scummy, villainous, trampwhores, basically. Being an ad agency, it was only natural we had a ton of photographists to chronicle the event, so i'll let their pictures tell the story... Just click on the thumbs to view their albums.

Thanks to the newbies for organizing a great party with a killer theme, the awesome rock-eoke bands, and the photo-addicts above for capturing the event in all it's dastardly glory.

Note: Here are some of my fave shots. I bastardized most of the photos in this album with manips, so just click on the album links listed above for the untainted originals...^_^

for everyone
My company Christmas party is coming up, and our theme is 'Lowelifes' where we must come as scummy, villaineous, candy-stealing dirtbags. I'm thinking the atmosphere is going to be something along the lines of the sleazy Mos Eisley cantina in Star Wars.

Anyway, I'm torn between two costumes to wear during the event: I'd like to go as Alex from Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange because of his simple and cool look... but I dunno, I just feel like a lot of dudes might dress up as him for some reason.

The other get-up I have in mind is Heath Ledger's Joker from next year's Batman: The Dark Night, simply cuz' he looks like a kickass maniacal-homicidal clown... but I'm afraid the makeup might be a hindrance to enjoying the party the whole night...

I'm not a cosplay kinda guy, but I'm really digging the theme and I think it's going to be a lot of fun this year (the cash prize for best in costume wouldn't hurt my bleeding wallet too btw, hehe). So, what do you guys think? Or maybe you can suggest other killer costume ideas and lemme steal them! haha

It was my first time attending this event, a place where a geek can be with his bretheren and feel right at home, hehe. My brother and I entered the ToyClicks toy photography competition as well, so we were excited and snooped around to see how people were reacting to our work (haha). Congrats to perry, chad, and chloe again for winning toyclicks (we lost the competition, but gained much more, new friends)! We were blown away by the great stuff in other exhibits like the custom toys, art contests, and of course, the uber fun cosplay! It was a great, great experience and I can't wait for the next one! Thanks to Azrael for organizing a very memorable event XD

There's a ton of pics, so i segregated them as follows:
* ToyClicks
* Life-sized heroes exhibit
* Custom toys exhibit
* Fun at a statue booth
* Sideshow Collictibles hijinks
* Cosplay fun
* Mega Mechs
* Dinner with the family

There's a ton more stuff from the event that are not here, but there are dozens of other albums out there with other people's toycon photos. I say, it's better to just experience the fun yourselves! So click on, and see 'Bleau & Ryder's Excellent Adventure'! hehehe, Nuff' said!
